These samples are very early and/or very academic. The web as a medium has advanced so much in the years since, and my design nowdays is snappy and largely AJAX driven.

Frontend web design was my first area of professional experience. I started out tinkering around in my spare time, and then designing for a local ISP. Since then I've moved into backend programming and databases. My code is hand-written and validated within an inch of its life. Dreamweaver is for the unfamiliar.

I was assigned a specific section of the Toyota site to redesign however I saw fit, but using the same text and graphic content. It also required the use of Shockwave which I met with the navigation system in the middle frame. The whole deal resizes vertically to fit the window.

A fan site can either mean an online gathering place for supporters, or a site about air circulation devices! It's this horrible manipulation of the term that is the basis for Dan's Fan Emporium - Dan being my instructor at the time. Beautifully crafted, DHTML driven silliness.

Old site for the Englewood Chamber of Commerce. My work here was entirely frontend, with the exception of some FileMaker Pro tinkering (agh!). Lots and lots of content here, but the layout seeed to bear the load nicely.
