These pieces utilize freehand drawing and photomanipulation techniques, as well as demonstrate a working knowledge of industry standard computer graphics suites and the principles on which they run.

Guidelines for this school project stipulated that a two dimensional rendering of a real object was to be created entirely in vectors, with no asistance from raster editing software. I chose one of the many odd light fixtures in the computer lab, which turned out to be a very interesting subject. All lighting effects and transparencies were made possible by the blending options introduced in Illustrator 9. The detail and outline views show to some degree how this was accomplished.

Almost the opposite of the above, is this graphic intensive CD-ROM layout for a fictitious company. This project was required to be created entirely in Photoshop, without the assistance of vector illustration or 3d software packages. When rolled over, each sphere would light and display the name of one section of the comapny's presentation.

Using what I discovered from a project above, I was able to create a vector reproduction of this portrait. The outcome met with great approval, and is extremely close to the original picture. Comprised entirely of shapes and gradients.
